Rightwing pundits are calling for Bradley Manning's head. The Pentagon and the CIA/FBI, etc. are hunting down his friends. The truth hurts. The U.S. occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan are nothing but war crimes within war crimes. If indeed Bradley Manning shared the "Aghan War Diaries" with Wikilieaks, then he is a hero. He needs and deserves our support.
For telling the truth, Bradley Manning could be imprisoned for many years. The Army has moved him from Kuwait to the Marine brig at Quantico, Virginia. Supporters will rally outside Marine Corps Base Quantico on Sunday, August 8 at 12 Noon.
The Bradley Manning Support Network is organizing a broad-based cyber campaign, and has established a defense fund, to be managed by Courage To Resist.
VFP members are actively involving themselves in the support network.
